Albert has been involved in the banking and finance industry in Namibia for the past 30 years, commencing his banking career in 1995 at a prominent Namibian Corporate Banking Institution. At the time of his departure from the Banking Industry in 2003 Albert held the position of Corporate Relationship Manager and ventured into the rental finance & rental discounting industry. Albert was instrumental in the establishment and evolvement of the Rental Finance Industry in Namibia. With Merchant West’s global expansion drive, Albert became involved with the establishment of Merchant West Finance Namibia during April 2021 and today holds the position of Regional Head for Merchant West Finance Namibia.

Qualified Winemaker based in Windhoek, Namibia. With a BSc in Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Viticulture and Oenology, from Stellenbosch University, Carla combines scientific expertise with hands-on experience in the world of winemaking.
Currently, Carla serves as the Sales Support Officer (SSO) at Merchant West Finance Namibia (Pty) Ltd. In this role, Carla is responsible to ensure that the divisional transactions are successfully and efficiently completed. To add value to the deals by providing an enhanced and superior level of service to both the internal and external stakeholders. Drawing on a unique blend of knowledge in both winemaking and finance, Carla is dedicated to driving growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.
Passionate about both the wine industry and finance, Carla continues to make valuable contributions to the success of Merchant West while staying deeply connected to the world of viticulture and oenology.
